Marilena wished…

It’s not just a wish. It is much more.
It is light in the darkness. It is strength. It is hope. It’s life.

These are the first words one reads when visiting the Make A Wish Greece website, and from our side we can only agree.

We support the work of the Organization in every possible way and recently Global Foods adopted the wish of 12-year-old Marilena, who lives in Katerini. The little girl desperately wanted a wooden garden house to play with her sister.

So it happened…

The fairies Maria and Dora traveled to Katerini in order to prepare Marilena’s wish and they had a lot to do. To decorate, to put up lights, to set up the pots, to prepare the place to be beautiful to welcome Marilena and her sister. And when Marilena arrived the fairies transformed her into the most beautiful princess in her red dress and golden shoes to match. And so this day of joy and creation will accompany the beloved family for many years and will give strength to continue their struggle, young and old!

Wishes do not simply fulfill a momentary wish of children who have learned from a very young age to struggle. Making them happen has the power to make every child believe that anything can happen, even the most important, can be done well!
