Carandini
Since 1641, Carandini has been producing the finest balsamic vinegar in Modena, bearing the name of one of the oldest noble families in the region. Its beneficial properties and characteristic sweet-bitter, balanced, and harmonious flavor result from an ancient tradition passed down from generation to generation. From ingredient selection and aging to slow maturation in various barrels with different wood aromas, Carandini combines the virtues of traditional recipes with modern techniques, industrial efficiency, and management capability.
Carandini is firmly committed to the principle of sustainability. Almost all the materials used come from renewable energy sources. Fifty percent of their containers and labels are FSC certified, and their glass bottles are made from recycled material and are themselves recyclable. For product transportation, they use reusable pallets.
Since 2015, Carandini has employed a modern organic processing system that oversees the organic purification of wastewater. The company places significant emphasis on responsible water resource management. Additionally, the integration of natural products, such as calcium carbonate, enhances the biological breakdown of polluted water during the purification process, leading to the generation of electrical energy or the use of the treated water as fertilizer.
