CERTIFICATIONS

The Quality Assurance Department of Global Foods is committed to maintain high food safety standards, compatible with international principles and requirements for all products and packaging materials provided to our partners. 

We implement a Food Safety Management System, where all products are preserved according to their type and category, specialized in ensuring food hygiene and safety, as well as a traceability system.

Through the application of appropriate procedures, we ensure that all products received and available in the market meet both national and European legislation requirements.

Monitoring of refrigeration chambers (with recording)

According to current legislation, refrigeration and freezing chambers, private or public, with a capacity of 50 m3 and above, must be equipped with suitable automatic recording devices for continuous monitoring of air temperature and humidity, where food intended for human consumption is stored.

Permanent recording systems, compliant with the European standard EN12830 for recording systems, should record temperature and/or humidity electronically with machines that have a memory and at regular intervals (at least every 15 minutes) to be kept for at least one year.

The company’s management has set the following objectives regarding food safety:

  • Continuous and updated training for all employees in the processes and procedures of the Food Safety Management System.
